We had a great Christmas! We left here Christmas eve morning, the roads were fine. Stopped in Levenworth for lunch, boy was it busy there. Got over the pass , it was very easy. We went to Anne and Lexs' house to say hello and found out that Anne had been in an accident and was injured and really suffering with back injuries. She says she tuff and will overcome this.
We found Jens was home and went over there to settle in since we were staying there.
Then we went to Elys' apt to have Christmas Eve, and Dad was there too. We had a great time eating, snacking and opening presents. We also watched a movie. But soon it was late and we had to leave. Ely had everything decorated so nice and filled with the holiday spirit. So back to Jens and then the fun started. We brought our own blow up bed, well the stopper was missing but Lonny and Jens found something that might work. The next thing to do was to blow it up. Sounds easy doesn't it, well it wouldn't so now what. I slept on the couch and Lonny took Sam's' bed.
The next day Jens went and got Sam and she was so excited about Santa coming. She got lots of nice things. Then later Lonny,Sam and I went to my brother Bobs' house for Christmas dinner. My Dad was there and Uncle Paul , then Bob & Cheryl's daughter Andi and here family . Cheryl fixed a great dinner and fun was had by all.
Then the next day Jens,Sam,Lonny and I headed out together for the Methow Valley. The trip was great till the pass, well it started to snow and didn't stop snowing the whole rest of the way. It was slow going but we made it just fine.
We had such a great time with the kids being able to come here. It's always a very busy time.
I would like to wish all my family and Friends a very happy new year!

It was a great time !

It was a great time playing in the snow with Lonny,Jens & Sam. Here are Sam and I after playing for few hours and having a great time. She took to snowmobiling very well. They have only just left awhile ago today and I miss them already.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

The finest Christmas gifts are not found below a tree; they are never tied with ribbons, nor are they something one can see...yet among the lights so bright and presents wrapped and gay, they are the finest gifts of all for everyone's Christmas day. It's the sense of love and peace that shines in peoples hearts. It's the good will of the season in which each may have a part.

Merry Christmas Annie !

Good Tideings

Hello from the beautiful Methow Valley! Well the clock is ticking down to Christmas and I'm as ready as I'll be this year. I always say I'm going to do better next year but old habits die hard.Today I hope to get busy wrapping and getting gifts into cards etc. Yesterday Lonny and I made a trip to Town (Okanagan & Omak) to do a little Christmas shopping. I love rural life so much but sometimes it's a pain this time of year with the weather being so unpredictable. It's been very cold, around 10 degrees. We left our /cat Jr. out all day cause he wouldn't come in before we left for town. When we got home he was just fine, but by them the temps. had dropped after dark. I was sure he would have frost bite to his Little ears but he was just fine. So life goes on. Knit on Diana (Knits Plenty)

Sun Rise. Hello Jens and Sam

The sun rise this morning was to die for. There is nothing more beautiful than a good snow and a sunny day. The temps are very cold so you can't spend much time outside.
Well I'm preparing to have a fabulous dinner with some really good friends Paul, Deb & Rozzie.Lonny ordered a banana cream pie. It will be fun.
Last Wednesday we got the news that our Son and Grand Daughter are going to try to come over after Christmas to spend a few days, we can't wait.
Hope your day is sunny!

Almost 24hrs. without power

I know this 24hrs is nothing compared to some people who have no idea how long it will be. By this morning we had about 20ins. of snow and more to come we hear.Lonny got the side walks cleared and a friend came and plowed the drive way, so we're good to go.
Tomorrow I'm have some friends over for dinner so we'll just hope that the power will be on.
Today I started to finnish the vest I'm making for a secret friend, it really looks like something she would like. So be thankfull for electricity. Knit on! Love Knits plenty
